Association Denied (Received 16, 8.45 a.m.) Atlanta (Georgia), Sept. 15. Mr Hiram Evans Imperial Wizard of ihe KIu Klux tKlan, dtnied that Senator Black, who has been appointed to the Supreme Court, is at present a member of the organisation. Mr Evans also denies the existence of any life mcmberships in tho Klan. The Washington correspondcnfc of the New'York Tiines says it is known that President Rooserelt is annoyed with Mr Black, and, when ihe news concerning the Klu Klux Kiau was first disclosed, *'even allowed the thought of askiug him to resigu.to cross his niiud."
