Australian Golf Title (Eeceived 15, 8.45 a.m.) SYDNEY, Sept. 14. In the amateur and professional golf cliampionships to-day surprises wero the defeat of Jim Ferrier, two and one, by the youthful D. J. Davies, and th»» elimination of Von Nida by Erio Cremin, four and three. Other results were as follows: — Amateurs: Eyan defeated T, McKay, 11 and 10; Tannor defeated Eae, 5 and 4; Williams defeated Heudly, 7 and 6. Professionals: Eichardson defeated Thomson, 4 and 3; Booth defeated Howard, 6 and 5; Walker defeated W. Bolgar at the 39th.
