Crew Thought Torpedo Had Hit Vessel (Eeceived 15, 10.0 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 14, The Sydney Star, which was damaged by an expjpsion in the engine-room on September 7, bcrthed in the Thames. The third engineer, Mr. Thomas Kenyon, was admitted to hospital with sc/vere burns. Six greascrs were slightly burued, The explogion shook the ship and blew one man ten feet intp the air. Some of the crew at first thought that the vessel had been torpedoed, lt took an hour to gubdue tllo fire.
