MR WILLIAM H. MAY
A well-known and much-respocted resident of Takapau, in the person of Mr, William H. May, passed away at the Waipukurau Hospital early this (Wednesday) morning after an illness of a few days, and his untimely demise will be much regrotted by a large circlo of friends in Takapau and district. The late Mr. May served with the New Zealand Expeditionary Force iri France, and ori being demobilised start* ed a motor-garage business which he carried on sriccossfully up to the timo 6f his fatal illness ori Friday last. Mr, May was married to Miss Wini* fred Papps, younger daughter of Mr. Papps, of Takapau, anti to her in her bereavement the sympatby of the community will be extended, Besides his widbw, he leaveS his fathor aad mother, Mr. and Mrs. Richard May, and one btather, Mr. Ernest May, of Gisborne, and four married sisters to mourn their loss.
