Waipukurau Meeting

WAIPUKURAU, Last Night". ^ The monthly meeting of the Waipukurau branch of the Plunket Society was held in the Plunket and rest-rooms this afternoon, Mrs J. D. Ormond presiding. Tlie following membefs weri present : Mesdames F. Hopkinson, B. Boys, J. L. Braithwaite, C. Moore, L. F-. S. Bell, F. McWilliam, E. Broad and the acting-secretary, Mrs J. Huntly- Walker The Plunket nurse submitted the report for August which read: Visits to rooms.-r- Waipukurau: adults 141, babies 118, children 36, total 295. Takac pau : Adults 34, babies 29, children 6, total 69 Porangahau: Adults 14, babies 8, children 3,. total 25. Visits to homes: Waipukurau 35, Takapau 8, Porangahau 12. New cases: Waipukurau 2, Porangahau 1. Cases under care: Waipukurau 200, Takapau 60, Porangahau 24,. Karilac sold 191bs, Karil and Karioi sold 131bs. Mrs M. Joblin's resignation from the committee was received with thF deepest regret. Mrs L. S. F. Bell was appointed visitor to the rooms for the ensuing month.
