MRS. ROY M. ANDREWS

One of the leading settlers of Tutira, Mrs Eoy M. Andrews, passed away suddenly at her home, Te Hoe, during the weeli-end. She had- been enjoying her usual good health but was found dead in her bed by her son on Sunday morning. Tlie late Mrs Andrews, who was a seeond daughter of Mrs Muir, Ngatapa, Gisborne, and of the late Mr James .Muir, of Havelock North, was born sided for the last 27 years. During that long period she has carricd out, with her husband, pionecring work, their properly being exceedingly diflicuJt of access. Mrs Andrews was held in high esteem by the settlers and all with. whom she came iu contaet., She is survived by her husband, wbo has been an inmate of tbo Napier Hospital for tlie past six weeks, and one son, Mr.Matthew Andrews, and one daughter, Miss Mary Andrews, both of Te Hoe. The t'uneral took place at tlie Taradale Cemetery yesterday afternoon. the bunal rites of tlie Presbytorian Ubureh being conductcd by the Eev. Haig, of Putorino. The pall-bearers wem iMessrs John Halibuvton, J. Lopdell, E. Harris, E. Hayes, J. and C.
