Mr P. Baird, of the Union Bank of Australia, Opotiki, is visiting his parents, Mr and Mrs D. P. Baird, Wairoa. Mr D. Harker, Wellington, is on a holiday visit to his parents, Mr and Mrs H. L. Harker, Wairoa. i Miss Dorothy Hoslcing, of the staff of St. Margaret's Girls' College, Christchurch, who has been spending the school va'cation at her home in Ormondville has returned to the South. Mrs Young, who has been ou a visit to Mrs N. Fitzgerald, Makotuku, has returned lo her honlo in Auckland. Miss Sylvia Wkitta, who has recently been on the staff of the Tolaga Bay School, spent the week-end at Makotuku as the guost of Mrs Fitzgerald before leaving for Tahoraite where she has been appomted to a position on the staff of the Tdhoraite School.
