COMING-OF-AGE PICTURE PARTY IN HASTINGS

A very jolly comiug-oi-age picture and s upper party was held in Hastings on Saturday night, when Mr and Mrs R. Pettman, "Waimoana," entertained a number of friends in honour of the twenty-first hirtliday of their only daughter, Marie, Following the pictures the happy party enjoyed a delicious and appetising supper. The tables were attractively set out and decorated with choice spring flowers. Ihe beautiful birthday cake was decorated with 21 candles. The toast of the guest of honour was musically lionoured and the custoinary key was presented. Among the guests present were Mr and Mrs Hewitt. Misses G. Sudfeit M. Isaacson, A. Love, A. Alason, L. and P. Nelson and J. Kniglit; Messrs T. McDonnell, H. Love, A. Sudfedlt N. Burneil, T. Lowe, H. Pettman and R. Mason.
