GIFT OF £1,000
How Is It To Be Utilised? The gift of £1000 from the late Sir R. D. D. McLean, to the Hawke's Bay Hospital Board, which was made available about two years ago is to be the subject of a report by the secretary as to the decision of the board at that time as to how the donation was to be utilised. It Ara3 eXplained that the gift was not ear-marked fotf any special purpose. Mr O. O. Mor.se, who brought the matter forward, said thab he wouid not like to see the gift losb sigiht of. The secretary explained that ib was deeided to uso the intercst in the. meantime 'in the purcliasing of hooks. i'or the mcdical library.
