Fatal Accident At Auckland WAR PENSIONER THE VICTIM

AUCKLAND, Last Night. Struck down by a niotox*-car as lie steppcd from the footpath to cross the street in Alount Albert road at about 0,30 011 Saturday evening, liarold Artliur Kogers, a singlo mai), aged about 50 years, died in the Auckland Hospital this morning. Coneussion, a coi))])ound l'racture of the right grm and injuries to liis back wcrc suffered by Mr liogers who was a war pensioner. Three persous witucssed the accident. A description of the motor-car, which 1 did n°t stop, was giveji to the police.
