SIXTH FORM PUPILS HOLD JOLLY DANCE

A jolly social evening arranged by the sixth form girls of the Hastings High Scliool was held in the Barrie. Studio, Hastings, on Tuesday evening wlien a number of young folk, principally pupils, spent a happy evening in dancing. A Monte Carlo dance was won by Miss Joyce Spence and Mr. It. Dysart. During the evening Mr. W. Anderson was a capable M.C. The coramittee of girls who arranged the evening were Misses B. Holmes, N. Boe, N. Emerson, J. Pratt, L. 'Wilkes, N. Sheppard, M. Robins, J. Kelt, M. Praser, and P. V/illiams. Tlie chaperones were Mts Robins and Mrs Einerson and among the dancers were Misses J. Stevensen, A. Black and M. Miller, members of the teaching staff, Ancy Holmes, M. Holmes, S. Lincoln, J. Blanchelt, N. Rogers, M. Hill, J. Paynter, P. Young, J. Westerman, J. Letford, A. Emerson, B. Thompson, M. Purcell, V.
