"Romance in Paris" is to be presented on the screen of the Regent j Theatre to-night. It marks the debut of Fernand Gravet, famous Continental film star. Born in Belgium, cducated in England, a resident now of Francej he is one of tho rauking scrccn idols throughout aJi Europe. The glittering star triumvirate ol! Joan Crawford, William Powoll and Bobert Montgomery come to the "screen at tho Itegent to-morrow iu Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer's urbane and higblypolished screen translation of Frederic Lonsdale's stage success, "Tlie Last of Mrs Clieyney." A clever adaption of the original Lonsdale Broadway hit has been devised by Leon Gordon, Samson Raphaelson and Monckton Hoffe giving the story an interesting variety ot luxurious backgrounds and an addition of sparkling and highly amusing dialogue. "The Last of Mrs Clieyney" eannot, fail.to please filnigoers of every age and taste. It is a bright, amusing and diverting entertainmeiit and the combined talents of Miss Crawford Powell and Montgomery, plus its excellent supporting players, raise it exactly to that standard which one would «xpect of so rich an assemblage of star powcr.
