GREETINGS FROM ENGLAND
Hastings To Hastings Two communications from Hastings, England, were received by the Hastings Borough Council in tho mail during the past month. Thero was the usual quarterly advico as to the competition for the New Zealand flags presented to the English town and in addition there were greetings on the attaiument of Hastings' jubilee. The Mayor of the County Borough of Hastings, wrote aclcnowledging receipt of copics of the Herald-Tribune and cther matters of interest in connection with the Coronation celebrations aud the jubilee of Hastings. He extended, on behalf of the citizens of Hastings, England, and St. Leonards, every good wishes for continued prosperity. The advice regarding the schools competition indicated that the senior flag was won by the Hastings Boys' Central School for the June quartor, and that the junior flag was gained oy tlie All Saints Junior Mixed Sehool for the same period.
