ST0RTF0RD REALISAT10NS Another very small yarding of store sheep was offered at Stortford Lodge to-day, when the few lines were readi]y sought after at advanced rates. Ewes with well developed latnbs, sired by Leicester rams, realised 20/-, all counted. Wether hoggets sliowed a further rise when a . particularly well woolled line in from Raupare, topped the market for the season at the splendid figure of 29/-. Some grown hoggets made very dear buying, some "being grass proiiositions only. Fattening ewes, iairly frained, brought to 20/-. I Realisations were as under • — In from Waimarama, 137 i'air framed ewes, believed to be empty, being a good fattening proposition, realised 20/6. The good value for wool infiuenhed the selling of this line. An entry of small grown wooly whitefaeed hoggets, in Iight ocndition trucked down from Wairoa, brought 26/9. From the saine district, a line of small to medium grown. black faeed. hoggets, in quite good order, made 23/1. A line of white-faced hoggets, a few being shorn as lambs, brought 24/3. These lioggets were medium grown and were uneven in quality. On account of Mr D. MeLean, Raupare, an entry of 59 ewes, quite well mouthed, with 59 black-faced lambs at foot, sold at 18/7, all counted. An entry of sinall grown, black-faced lioggets, in fair order, sold at 19/1. A small entry of ewes, with lambs, sired. by Leicester rams, at foot, made 20/- all counted. An entry of fairly grown black-faced hoggets, in forward order, brought 27/6. On account of Mr R. B. Arnott, Twyford, an entry (jf fairly grown wooliy 'Romney wether hoggets, in forward order, realised 29/-.
