WANGANUI, This Day. Very fair fields afc engaged for the opening of the Wanganui spring fixture to-morrow, and it .is interesting to note many Hawke 's Bay horses ainong the acceptors. The going will be dead, but probably no worse. Half the field in the Open Spring Handicap to-morrow are three-year-olds, and as all but oue figuro in tho. Guineas on Saturday the clrtssic prob' lem may be solved here. A feature of the Maiden Race is the presence of several smart three-year-olds, one of whom, Relative, was little short of tlie best form last season,.
