As a further inducement to the pnblic to save up for railway trips, the general inanager (Mr. G. H. Mackley) aiaiounces a deeision to grant inlerest at 5 per cent. on vouehers to the value •of 10/- or multiples of 10/-. These vouehers tnav be obtained :n exchange t'or the travcl stamps issued at railway stations or may be bought for^ eash. Interest accrues from the date of issue of a voucher, but does not continue after tlie expiration of twelve months, if the voucher is not used for the pur- \ chase of a railway tieket witliin that period, 1
