j ■ . - i » ■ - ■ Detention of Steamer by Spanish Rebels (Received 7, 10 a.m.) LUNDO.N, Sept. 6.0 The British Government has protested to General Franco, Spanish rebei leader, against the captqre of the British steamer Burlington, which an insurgent cruiser escorted to Palma. The Burlington, formerly the Nausicaa, was bound frojh Batum to Cartageim under loyalist charter Jaden with 7700 tops of oil. Tlie Burlington belougs to the same line as the "Woodford, thc British tanker which an (inknown submarine torpedoed and eank in the Moditerranean.
