General Inference: The recent depression has lost intensity and is now crossing the northern portion of the North Island, while another and deeper depression is passing far to the south of the Dominion. An anticyclone is extending from eastern Australia on to the north Tasman Sea. Forecast: Moderate to fresh northeasterly to south-easterly winds prevailing. Weather; Cloudy to over cast, with rain probable. Temperatures rather cooler. Seas; Moderate to rather rough, with a considerable swell. THE SUN.
