Miss Winifred McCarthy, of Napier, who has been spending a holiday in Christchurch, returned home yesterday. Aliss Bremner, of the Nelson Girls' .College, is visiting Napier and is tlie guest of Mrs Uxiord, Cameron road. Mr and Mrs, R. McCreath and JUrs MeLennan, of Timaru, are the guests of Mr and Mrs C. Watkins, Avenue road, Hastings. Mr iMcCreath is president of the New Zealand Croquet Couneil, and is making an official visit to all distiicts in New Zealand.
