The resignation from the club of Mr. F. K. Dickson, wbo is leaving th» Dominion, was accepted. Advice was received from tbe N.Z. Racing Conference and Messrs. Walker and Hall, Ltd., tbat tbe Duke of Gloucester Cup had been fonvarded, togetlier with tbe two miniatures. Tbe sccretary, Mr. A. E. Wishart, informed tbe committee that tbe three tropbies liad been deposited with tbe Bank of New Zealand for safe cus toily. Tbe question of redomption of tbe H.BJ.C, debentures by - means of in-

1 surance poliey was discusscd. It was decided tbat tbe matter be left in tbe bands of Messrs. G. D. Beatson, F. P. Kelly and G. Maddison for invcstigation. It was resolved tbat tbe intercst on tbe debentures due on September 15 should be paid on tbat dato. Tenders for tho ensuing year's race meeting privileges are to be advertixed in tbe immediate future. After a short discussion it was decided to call tenders- for tbe club'« gcneral insurances. Tbe followmg sub-committeos wero appointed:. — Coursc, Messrs. G. D. Beat- j son, T. V. Morrin and J. W. World; J finance and programme, Messrs. G. D. | Beatson, E. P. Kelly, G. Maddison and T. R. Roulston; totalisator steward, Mr. G. A. Maddison, witb Mr. G. Ebbett as deputv in tbe absence of tho f o t mer. Tbe Lrustecs for tbe debenturcboldors are to be paid fortbwitb their proportion of last season's racing profits. Tbe sccretary, Mr A. E. Wisliart, tabled a iinancial statemcnt sbowing tbe comparative position to-day witb' tlie corrcsponding pcriod last year. Tbe cbairnmn, Mr. G. D. Beatson, said tbat tlie position was a most satisfaetory one. Accounts amounting to £61 6"/6 wero passed for payment, subject to tbe approval of tbe bonorary treasurer, Mr. J. S. McLeoa.
