New Arrival Beats Blomfield On Points

AUCKLAND, Last Nlght. Vie. Ohristy, an American wrestler ' who has just concluded a successful tour ' in Australia, made" his first appearance in New Zealand when'he appeared at the Town Hall on Saturday night, his oppouent being ^ ' Lofty ' ' Blomfield, of' Auckland. Christy gained a popular decision on points - after each man hadisecured a fall. The first fall was obtained by Blomfield in .the third: round. Christy reeled under-. a succession of solid forearm jolts in the- region of the heart and after an exeiting couple of forward chancery throws Blomfield .picked up his opponent, glammed • him , iand pinned him with a body press. Christy evened the falls in the sixth" •round. He responded vigorously; to forearm jolting and twisted Blomfield '• head between the two highest strands of rope. When the Aucklander had been released 'by the referee with the aesistance of an inspector of pblice, Christy resumed his jolting attack and after felling the Aucklander he pinned him with a body press,
