Kay Francis, the famous cinema actfess, is applying to tho Court to cancel her contract with Warnor Brothers, reporhs a Los Angeles cable. The dispute is due to tho Warner concern borrowing Ciaudette Colbert from Paramount for a role which, it is alleged, was promised to Miss Francis, According to a Hollywood messagc, Martha Raye is suing for divorco against Hamilton Westmore, one of the partners of the famous make-up company. She alleges cruelty. Alice Faye, the fllm actress, and Tony Martin, the singer, were married at a civil ceremony at Yuma, Arizona, after eloping from Hollywood by aeroplane. Tho stage and screen .singer, Graee Moore, has undergone an operation. Her condition is jeported to be good. A message from Calneva, Nevada, says it is announced that Jack Doyle, the British boxer, and Mrs Delphine Dodge Godde, a sister of Mr Howard Dodge, the autbmobile millionaire, are being married next week_ immodiateiy after afReno divorce has been granted to each of them. Jack Doyle said in an interview today: "I sliall never fight again. It is ovor-brutai." A message from Yuma, Arizona, states that Miriam Hopkins and Ant'on Litvak, tlie Russian director, wero married after flying I'roiu Hollywood.
