Annual School Ball At Ormondville

ORMONDVILLE, Last Night. Tho ehildren's fancy-dress ball, held in the Peace Memorial Hall, Ormondville, under the a.uspicies of Orinondvllle Woihen's Iustitute, was a pronounced suceess. By 8 o'clock the hall presented .a gay appearance, decorated with red, green and gold streamers( the institute's colours), with the children lined up for the grand march, whicR was controlled by Miss Dorotby Hoskiugs, of Christchurch. After games aud dances, the supper waltz brouglrt the jn'ogramme' to a close for the. juveniles, who theu marched to the supper-room, where the tables wero artisticaliy decorated with spring flowers and foliage. On leaving the supperroom, each child was presented with a bag of home-inade sweets, Music was supplied by Mr W. Te Tau.
