The Hastings Towns women 's Guild will meet in the Oddf ellows ' ' Hall on Thursday, September 9 at 2.30 p.m. Miss Jean Ballantyne will speak on "Dancing" with illustrations of the dances of various countries. Tho resolutions which will come beforo the N.Z.U.T.G. councii meeting will be discussed, and members are reminded of the "13ring and Buy" stall of fiowers and seedlings, which will be conducted by the Gardening Circle. The mueh-looked-for Andrew Johnston meetings will commeiice to-xnorrow in the Baptist Chureh, Karamu road south. Mr Johnston served in Francc with the New Zealand Division and suffered the loss of sight through shetlburst. He has of reeent years dfidicated his full time and talents to the preaching of tlie Cliristian meseage, and the many special missions whicli he has conducted throughout .. Now Zealand hq.ve made a very strong appeal. Mrs Johnston will aecompany the preacher and will sing at each evening meeting. Every week night at 7.30, with tho exception of Saturday, these attractive services will be continued.
