North Island Elimination The programme for the North Island elimnotion festival of the British Drama League, New Zealand btaneh, to be held at Hawera next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, has been an« nounced. Ten of the plays are winners of their areas and two are being presented for criticism only. The judge will be Miss Elizabeth Loe. The plays are: — Tuesday: "Five at the Georgo" (Stratford third team, criticism only); "Wayside War" (Rotorua); "Boy of Bisley" (Hawera); "All in tho Day's Work" (Wanganui). Wednesday: "Othello" (Stratford); "Sad About Europe" (Hawera third team, criticism only); "No, Not the Russians" (Auckland); "300th Performance" (Masterton). Thursday: "300th Performance" (Napier); "Privy Councii" (Palmerston North); "The Poachers" . (Wellington); "Maid of Doinveiny" (Hamilton).
