Woman Who Killed Sick Husband (Eeceived 3, 8.45 a.m.) SYDNEY, Sept. 2. Tha jury disagreed in the case in which Mary Cecilia Thomas was charged with the murder of her husband and a new trial was ordored. After an inquost before tho city coronor into the death at Chatswood, a suburb of Sydney, of William Thomas, aged 60, his widow, Mary Cooilii Thomas, was committcd t'or trial on a cliarge of ramdor. Iu a slatement nllegcd to havo been made by Mrs. Thomas to the police, she was roportod to have said that at the requost of her invalid husband, who had plqaded to be put out of his pain, she had shot him.
