CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night. lhefts totalling uearly £300 from the Christchurch brauch of tho Governmeut Life Iusurance Office were admittcd by Russell Frederick Orgau in the Magistrate 's Court. He was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence. The evidenec showed that demands from au uurevealed source for aioney had been made- on Organ during June, and he had t&ken the money to meet them. "VVhen he found that he could not repay the money he had flown from Christchurch to Auckland, and attempted to get to Australia by tbe Niagara, He was arrosted on the boat and brought' back to Christchurch.'
