Hoktika Centenarian Dies

HOKITIKA, This Day. The death occurred this' moming at the Westland Hospital of Mr. Goorge Anderson, at the advanced age of 107 years. He was born in England and came to the Dominion in 1864. He showed wonderful vitality nntil the last, his hearing and sight being remarkably good. His birthday was celebrated a fortnight ago. ■' He followed mining pursuits in his earlier years.
