TIMARU, Last Night. Tbe South Island elimi nation festival of one-uct pwys, held unuer ihe auspicos of tbe New Zealand brancb of tbe Britisb Drama League, was conducted at Timaru to-night and won by tbe Dunedin Ropertory Society, wbicb prosented "Bamboo. " Otber finalists were the Amberley Drama Circle, wbo prescnted 'D'crelict," and tlie Timaru Catbolic Dramatic Club, wbicb pre•ented "And ao to War."
