COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS

Valuable seholarships to commence in 1938 are offered by the Board of Governors of King's College, Auckland. These include the Robert C. Horton Scholarship, open to boys under 13 years of age on January 1, 1938, which provides a free education at the college as a boarder. This scholarship is offered once every three years. Three entrance seholarships are also offered for boys under 13, one for boys under 14, and one for boys attending a preparatory school. * An old boy of King's College was last year awardcd a Rhodes Scholarship. Rocouriy another old boy was appointed to the Britisli Oolonial Sorvice. This is the second similar appointment in recent years.
