HAUMOANA CARDS
The last of the house-to-house 500 card parties was held in the Haumoana Hall. Despite the wet night, there was a large crowd and a very pleasant evening was spent by all. Winners of the cards were: — Ladies: Mrs G. Smith 1, Mrs Harvey '2. Men: Mr McCarthy 1, Mr A. OUiver 2. A dainty supper brought a .very pleasant evening to a olotie.
