Meeting in Hastings A meeting of the Hawke's Bay Pliilatelic Society Avas held in the Chamber of Commerce rooms last evening, Mr R. L. "Gigg presiding over a good attendance of members and iutending members. It was decided to hold meetings in Hastings every mouth, commencing from September 15. After general business, a display of first-day Coronation covers was shown by Messrs Snaddon and Spurdle. Afterwards Mr Snaddon showed several pages from his album of mint Colonial stamps. Eight new members joined up with the society at the close of the meeting.
