Results:— Southland Minor (23) beat Manawatu (19); Taranaki (27) beat Waikato (12); Wanganui (29) beat North Auckland (15); Poverty Bay (11) beat Soutli Canterbury (6); Ashburton (16) beat Wairarapa (12); Hawke's Bay Minor (23) beat Bush (18) ; Horowhenua (22) beat Te Kawau (12); Wairoa (17) beat Wanganui (33).
