Tho poll for the election of a producers' representative on the New Zealand Fruit-Export Control Board foi the Hawke's Bay-Wellington provincial district resulted in the return of Mr D. S. McLeod by a narrow majority of Uiree votes. The' sitting rnember, Mr A. M. Robertson, did not seek re-e!ec-tion. ^ There were two candidates for the seat, the result being:— D. S. McLeod 80 A. L.
