RISSINGTON, Last Night. A one-act play was presented by aniateurs at the first annual concort and dance held by the Rissington Miniature Rifle Club. Those taking part were: Messrs. A. R. Mines, T. Sanders, F. Howell, R. Absolom, S. Williams, and Mrs. L. Hutchinson and Miss J. Youren. Pianoforte and elocutionary itoms were given by Messrs. D. and R. Annan. Miss Phyllis Thompson precented tliree higlily appreciated items, a tap dance, a skipping dance and an acroba-ic dance. Messrs. Phil Walclen and E. Mulvannah entertained on the piano and bajijo. Mr. Pat 1'arker gave two elocutionary itcins, and a liumorous sketcli was staged by Mr. Diclc Absolom and company. A tap-dancing number in costunie was presented by Misses Tocker and fioie, of Napier. Dancing from 10.30 until 2 a.m, concluded a very aucceasful evening.
