MR. F. M. MILLS
The death has occurretl of Mr. Francis Montague Mills1, once a prominent ligure in business and sporting activities in Taranaki. He died in an ambulance which, followed by a doctor m a car, was hurrying him from Inglewood for treatment in the New Ply- .■ mouth Hospital. It is believed that Mr. | Mills became ill after a fall. A post- \ mortem examination was held and it is understood that an inquest will be necessary. - _ | About 25 or 30 years ago Mr. Mills was one of the most prominent men ia j Taranaki business and sporting circles. His interests ranged from land to gold | mines. He was reputed to be a man of considerable wealth. Mr. Mills tooK a lively interest m racing and trotting. He was 67 years of age. He leaves a widow and oue daughter. j
