Mr T. L. Powdrell lias returned to Wairoa after attending the annual meeting of the electoral committee of the Meat Producers' Board. I Mr J. Mabin, fonnorly on the stalf of the Bank of New South Wales, Wairoa, left on, Sunday on transfer to Sydney. The Mayor and Mayoress of Wairoa, Mr and Mrs H. L. Harlcer, have returned home after a pleasure cruise to the Islands in the R.M.s. Maunganui. Miss Poris Harper, of the Palmerston North Hospital staff, has been spending a i'ew days with lier parents in Otane and lel'fc yestcrday to resume duty. Mr Clarence Gi'ainger, Wairoa, is visiting his brother and sister-in-law, Mr and Mrs G. Grainger, Otane.
