A match was played on the home Inks during the weelc-end against a team of 16 players from Maralceke club, resultmg in a victory for the visitors by a substantial margin. Many of tho games went to the last hole, and in the. majority of games the decision was very close. Eesults are as follow: FOUE-BALL Bryant and Knobloeh lost to Peacock and Webb. Dwight and Surridge beat J. Williams and McLcan. Fox and Mitchell lost to Baird and C. Williams. J, Knobloeh and Jelfery lost to Willis and Longworth. Marakelio 7, Waipawa 1. As the women 's annual tournament wili be held on Wednesday, there will be no matches for men on that day. There will be no draw made for the men next Saturday, owing to the Marakeke tournament being held this week, in which a large number of members anticipate taking pajt.
