WELLINGTON, Last Night. Commcnting to-day on tlie guaranteed prices announcement, Mr, J. G. Brechin, of Pahiatua, a director of the National Dairy Association, said that • the factories in his district required not less than ls 4d lb. for butterfat, and cheese factories not less than ls Gd in order to put the industry in a souhd position. They had had overy right to expect these figtiTes if the Government had put into effect its promise that the dairyfarmers, who were working from 60 to 80 hburs a week, were to receive an adequate return for their services.
