CHRISTIAN SCIENCE
Christ Jesus was the subjeet of the Lesson-Sermon in all Churches of Christ, Scientist, on Sundayf August 29. The Golden Text was from John 5:22, 23, "The Fatfier judgest no man, but hath eommitted all judgment unto the Son; that all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Fathor." Among the citations which comprised the Lesson-Sermon were the foliowing from the Bible, "Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.,, Also fKe foliowing passages, from the Christian Science text boolt, "Science and Health with Key to the Scripture's." by Mary Baker Eddy, "Jesus was the son of a virgin. pear to mortals in such- a form of humanity as they could understand as well as perceive. Mary's conception of liim was spiritual, for only purity could reflect Truth and Love, which were plainlv incarnate in the good and pure Christ Jesus." (p. 332).
