Yorksbire and Middlesex are keenly contesting the county crickeb leadership, though Yorkshire, as a result of taking full points from Sussex, while Middlesex obtained only a hrstinnings lead over Nottinghamshire, has again gone to the head of the table. The Yorkshire percentago is 70.86, against Mlddlesex's 70.43. Both have commenced their last matches, against Hampsliire and Surrey respectively. II both win Yorkshire will be champions by a ifew; decimal points. The next county in the table is Derbyshire, last yeqr's champions. with 59.25 per cent, /
