Japanese Government's Desire HALF A MILLION BALES ONLY (Received 30, 12.40 p.m.) TOKIO, Aug 29. The Minister of Commerce, Mr Shiki Yoshido, has expressed the Government's desire to restrict Japan 's annual woor imports to half a million bales and to reduce the output of woollen cloth by 30 per cent. Wool importers desired 800,000 bales. Mr Yoshido urged the substitution of fibre for wool. Mr Yulci, Governor of the Bauk of Japan, states that Japan is ablo to defray military expenditure for a protractecl period.
