Farr's Chances Against Louis (Received 30, 8.45 a.m.) NEW YORK, Aug. 28. Owing, it is reported, to substantial backing from England and to the comment of the physician of the New York State Commission, the odds against Tommy Farr for his bout against Joe Louis for the world heavyweight boxing title are shortening. The physician stated that, after a medical examination of both men, Louis Bhowed more nervous reaetions than Farr. The postponement of the fight was liahle to affect the negro's fighting. Farr and Louis are having light workouts. Farr fell after a blow. from a sparring partner, but the managcr 'claims that he merely tripped.
