Hawke's Bay Team Leaves f — ■ The teanj to represent Hawke's Bay at the New Zealand ehampionships at Auckland this week left Hastings tliis morning by car, and were accoinpanied by the manager-coach, Miss K. Thorpe, and Mrs S. K. Hingston, president of the Hawke's Bay Union. Mrs Hingston also has the additional honour of liaving been chosen by the New Zealand Basketball Association to be sole seltfctor of the South Island team for the match against the North at the conclusion of thetournamcnt. The players making the trip are as follow: — G. Symes (captain), J. Joll (vice-captain) R. Butcher, F. Struthers. G. Wilson. I. Joll, T. Hiron. H. Bligh', R. Tong, M. McAleese, B. Seton, M. Schroder. V. Wall was unable to take the trip.
