POSTPONED FIGHT
Farr Bursting with Optimism NEW YORK, Aug. 26. The postponement of the Louis — Farr liglit has, intensiiled interest. The boxgrs have returned to their carnps. Farr, still bursting with optimism, said: "I will lick this fcllow, even if he is a strong favourite." Sporting writers do not sha-re his conlidence, but an increasing number counael Louis that an early knockout is desirahle. After examining Farr and Louis, the Athletic Commission's physician declared that Louis showed more nervous reactions than Farr. He said the postponement of the fight was liablo fo affect the negro's fighting. This morning the skies were overcast and it was raming occasionally. A sudden flurr^ of wagermg, which previously was virtually non-exist-ent, is reported, indieating that there is some belief that Farr has been un-der-rated, and also a desire to take advantage of the long odds.
