(Received 28, 11.30 a.m.) ROME, Aug. 27. General Franoo, leader of the insurgcnts in Spain, offieially thanks Signor Mussolini "for the Italians1 assistanee in the capture of Santander. The Italian casualties at Santander from August 14 to 23 have been published. These show that 10 officers and 325 men were killed, and 60 officers and 1616 men wounded. A Burgoa message states that the capture of Port Laredoj with 5000 prisoners, making the campaign total 51,000, is announced. General Franco, in a speech, said: ' ' Santander has been liberated from the yoke of Moscow. Long live Spain, Germany and Italy."
