ATTACKED BY ARABS
British Mombasa Officials (Eeceived 27, 11.0 a.m.) MOMBASA*, Aug. 26. - Arabs armed with swords and stones attaoked the distriet officer, Mr Leslie, and Chief Inspeetor Nelson. Both escaped. Mr 'Leslie was saved by an African ascari from death by a swordthrust. Eleven Arabs are known to have been killed, but the exact' casualties cannot be ascertained. Many were admitted to hospital, and doctors are treating others secretly.
