SIX-NIL VICTORY
Final Match qf N.Z, Hockey Jourists SYDNeY, Aug. 26. Playing the last match of the tour the New Zealand hockey team defeated a metropolitan team, 6 — 0. The visitors provided a splendid exhibition against the strongest metropolitan team seen for some time. Tho New Zealand forwards were too fast for the local men and play was ^ standard seldom seen in Sydney. The manager, Mr. Gracie, at the conclusion of the game, said the exhibition was a complete answer to Australian critics, who earlier in the to.ur, said the present, team was not up to the standard °f previous New Zealand elevens. Wilson, right back for New Zealand, played an outstandin'g game. The scorers were: Robertson 2, Brown 2, Rougfiton and Watson.
