BRITISH ACTION IN CHINA
Missionary's Forecast . VANCOUVEE, Aug. 24. Dr. W. J. Sipprell, United Church missionary in China, who has arrived at Vaneouv8r, predicted that the British and French would be eompelled to take military action in China. The Anglican Bishop of Honan, who has arrived in Canada for a conference, has received no word of his family in Shanghai aud will return by the next boat.
