A mecting of tlie Hastings comniittea of tho Hawke 's Bay Wai- Rclicf Association was held on Tuesday. Present: I\Iessrs F. J. Hull (in the chair), L. J. Mackersey and P. J. Priest. Leave of absence was granted to Messre W. Havt and F. Perrin. Forty-six returncd soldiers' cases were considered and assistance was granted in various Ways, includiug granls amounting tp £59. 15/6.
